    Chemical Engineering is very old and relevant engineering stream although it is not so fashionable according to today's trends but it was, is and will be always in moderate demand. 

   Basically it deals with the principles of Chemistry and other branches of Science to change raw product into useful one.

 

   Chemical Engineers are responsible for wide range of responibilities like --

• Analyse and monitor the process and performance of methods of production

• Supervision of manufacturing plants and equipments 

• Establishing safe working conditions within chemical industries

• Processing of food and agricultural commodities, cosmetics etc.

      & so on...

     You have a series of industries in your line-up, For example : 

• Chemial Plants

• Pharmaceutials

• Paper & Pulp Industry

• Textile Industry

• Research 

     & so on...

    So, basically in short, where a series of process are involved, there is a need of chemical engineers. 

  But 

    Always keep in mind whatever stream you are choosing, it should be in your character. Don't just blindly follow the friends, siblings or society because finally you have to go with that stream in next 4 years course duration and afterthat.
